Bath, Nicolas Cage and Johnny Depp




Would you believe it. Yesterday the Guardian had that article about Georgian pornographic poetry and now, today, the Independent has an article about Bath. But not just any old article. Did you know Nicolas Cage and Johnny Depp live in Bath? Nicolas Cage lives in The Circus no less. What is the world coming to!!! Bloody Hell!!! (Sorry about the expletive.)

    Actually, I can see Johnny Depp slipping easily into character for a Jane Austen novel, but Nicolas Cage? Ugh. I hope he hasn't brought any violence from one of his typical movies with him.

    I very nearly uttered the same expletive myself! Tsk tsk. I do so love the "grace, beauty and restraint" of Bath (and Austen heroines)" and do not generally associate those words with Depp and Cage. BH!!

    I thought Johnny Depp lived in France.
