I try to encourage and help them develop their writing further. I hadn't heard of the Jane Austen Literacy Foundation, it sounds like they are doing something that will really make a positive difference to children's lives. #blogcrushRuth - Mummy and the Mexicanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07870867541291779600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3713948124674580839.post-84820973554237271542018-12-12T11:37:31.948-08:002018-12-12T11:37:31.948-08:00Thank you for your kind comment.TonyThank you for your kind comment.TonyTONYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07767998391294014275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3713948124674580839.post-68058180600298946162018-12-12T07:42:40.072-08:002018-12-12T07:42:40.072-08:00This is such a great post. I find it cathartic. A get a sense of relief from it. I ...Tony, this is why I'll never write a novel. I would be inclined to write a story set in the distant past, and it is not my own. There is a marked difference between an Austen novel and a recently written spinoff. Just as Jane wrote about her time and place, I would probably do better to write about my own; but, no. So I think I'll stick to nonfiction!Jean | DelightfulRepast.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02038772991628796917noreply@blogger.com
