Thought I'd come back and enjoy it again. If only Twinings could see my stash of their empty tins I've accumulated because they will "come in handy for something"!Jean | DelightfulRepast.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02038772991628796917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3713948124674580839.post-53979275349475429772015-02-19T06:45:19.136-08:002015-02-19T06:45:19.136-08:00Love Jane, love tea, it's only natural that I ...Love Jane, love tea, it's only natural that I would love this post! I'm drinking Twinings Earl Grey this very minute. I buy the loose tea in the 200-gram tins, four at a time. Didn't know that they were the first to blend teas for consistent flavour. I always learn something from your posts.Jean | DelightfulRepast.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02038772991628796917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3713948124674580839.post-5254156023078232852010-04-17T04:40:49.891-07:002010-04-17T04:40:49.891-07:00What a fascinating article. When she arrived in England from Portugal, she immediately asked for a cup of tea. On the other hand, it is the heavy-handed British Govt. and their tea tax which turned Americans into coffee drinkers, esp. after the Boston Tea Party. Very interesting article.
